How does Stream Chest work?
A streamer connects Twitch, configures chest rewards and outcomes, and optionally creates matching Channel Point rewards. Viewer redemptions can open automatically or wait for a manual streamer action.
How do I connect my Twitch channel?
Choose Connect Twitch, sign in with the broadcaster account, and approve the requested permissions. Return to Settings to create or repair the connection if a reward or automatic opening is not responding.
Why are automatic chests not opening?
Open Dashboard → Settings and reconnect Twitch if needed, then check that the chest is set to open automatically and its Twitch redeem is active. Use “Repair connection” in Settings if the status is not enabled. Redemptions that need attention remain available in Chest history.
What does “streamer opens” mean?
The redeem is placed in a queue instead of opening immediately. The broadcaster or an allowed moderator can open it from the dashboard when the timing is right for the stream.
Which chat commands are available?
The defaults are !leaderboard, !rank, !myloot, !treasure, !chests, and !chesthelp. Streamers can rename, disable, and customize their replies in Settings.
What are treasure pieces?
Treasure pieces are a spendable balance. Rank-ups and configured chest outcomes can grant them, and streamers can choose how many pieces to charge when granting any configured chest.
Where can I find a redeem that is waiting?
Open Dashboard → History. Pending redemptions appear at the top, where you can open them individually. If the list is missing a recent redeem, choose “Check Twitch now” to refresh it.
How do I add the overlay to OBS?
Copy the private overlay URL from dashboard settings into an OBS Browser Source. Keep that URL private; you can regenerate it from Settings if it is ever exposed. The overlay intentionally has no site header or footer.
